B. Simone emotionally explained her lifestyle changes as she enters a new season financially. Speaking with her best friend, Shekinah Yon, on her Let’s Try This Again podcast, the stand-up comedian discussed her spiritual journey, money management, and how the two are intertwined as she builds her legacy through her app LTTA.
The commentary began around the 9-minute mark of the intimate conversation.
“I feel like I am attacking something that I can’t see right now,” the 35-year-old revealed.
“I feel like it’s [a] breakthrough with what I’m creating in the app. I feel like there’s been so much financial…just my finances. The budgeting… You see how I am. knitpicking every little thing. I’ve never been like that. We were in Bloomingdale’s yesterday, I’m like, ‘We have to go to H&M.’”
She continued, “I notice it in me now. I just dont have it to spend. Im used to having liquid. Because I’ve invested in this app, in this platform, I don’t have the liquid. I’ve got the money — but not yet. It’s coming. I have it in assets. I have it in jewelry….I’m used to seeing a certain amount in my account.”
Her candid confession was clipped from the episode and shared across social media, with many viewers criticizing B. Simone’s shopping struggle.
“B. Simone is forever out of touch,” exclaimed one user on X.
“I didn’t know it was heartbreaking to live like an average human being,” shared another account.
“Shorty can afford to put clothes on her back and is crying,” added an additional page.
The account belonging to actor O’shea Jackson defended the fast fashion retailer and exclaimed, “H&M got good sh*t. WTH lmaoo.”
