Cam’Ron has officially added author to his resume. The New York native has officially signed a $750,000 book deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster to release his highly anticipated memoir.
As described in a press release, the currently untitled work is set to give readers an unfiltered look into the Dipset co-founder’s rise from the streets of Harlem to the top of the rap game, and his evolution into a respected media personality, fashion figure, and businessman. The memoir is described as flaunting Killa Cam’s signature honesty and Harlem flair, with untold stories, lessons learned, and his perspective on Hip-Hop, hustle, and longevity.
“I’m happy to have this deal done,” relayed the 49-year-old. “Hopefully, the book will be released February of 2026, and that everyone can take something from my memoir when they read it.”
The Purple Haze rapper’s book deal comes after another major business move. Earlier this month, Cam’ron signed a multi-million dollar partnership agreement with REVOLT to house his Talk With Flee podcast.
“And yea, ni**as is right this ain’t a run I’m on. It’s a fu**ing marathon,” wrote Cam’Ron on Instagram as he shared the news. “My mom up in heaven working. Miss and love you.”
Earlier this year, Cam’ron also debuted his independent film Is It A Crime, which he also starred in and produced. The movie is now streaming on Apple TV, YouTube TV, and Amazon Prime. Watch a preview below.
