Chris Brown shared his appreciation for T-Pain in an honest social media upload. On his Instagram story, the Virginia native shared his “random thought” that T-Pain is one of the best of his generation.
“RANDOM THOUGHT…” began the 36-year-old. “@Tpain is one of the goats of my generation!!!” “GIVING YOU YOUR FLOWERS!!! PIONEER. LOVE YOU MY BROTHER,” continued the post in all caps before he concluded with a red heart emoji.
Chris Brown and T-Pain’s first collaboration was the 2007 hit “Kiss Kiss,” and the two continued a personal and professional relationship with multiple tracks, including “Freeze” in 2008, “Bring It Back” in 2014, and more.
While Breezy assured fans that the love was random, it comes after Drake shared some not-so-random thoughts about T-Pain. During a recent appearance on the Crash Dummies podcast, the “Buy You A Drank” singer expressed his thoughts that the Toronto-bred rapper did not live up to his word of “gracefully” leaving music behind.
“The one thing I learned from Drake, here’s the crazy thing, the one thing I learned from but one thing he hasn’t followed, his own words. Drake said ‘I want to be one of those people that gracefully bows out and not get kicked out,’” the 40-year-old singer explained.
The 6 God responded by claiming, “This guy always had resentment for me,” with the crying laughter emoji. He continued, “You can hear it every time he speaks on my name.”
