Nasty C Makes A Bold Move To Learn Sesotho Language. Nasty C has taken a bold step toward embracing a deeper connection with the culture of his home country. The “King” of SA Hip-Hop announced that he’s committed to learning Sesotho, a language spoken by millions in Southern Africa, as part of his ongoing evolution as an artist and individual.

The announcement was made via a candid post where Nasty C declared, “I have since made the decision to learn. Utlwa.. 👂🏽 #ivysontour2024.” For the multi-talented rapper, this move marks more than just an educational milestone—it’s a demonstration of his willingness to embrace new challenges and experiences.

Nasty C’s decision came after he struggled to understand the language spoken during an interview he and Cassper Nyovest had with Naledi Mallela about their African Throne Tour. The host attempted to engage the Durban rapper in Sesotho, but the Hell Naw hitmaker was straightforward in admitting that he couldn’t understand what Naledi was saying. “I dont understand that language,” Nast C said, as he went on to point out a few Sesotho words he understood.

As Nasty C gears up for the next leg of his Ivyson Tour, the rapper took to Instagram to share a video, encouraging his fans in Sesotho language to purchase tickets for the upcoming Johannesburg event.
