Jonathan Majors‘ ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, has dropped her federal lawsuit against the actor. According to Variety, attorneys for both parties filed a joint notice with the court on Thursday (Nov. 21) stating “all claims against Defendant in the above-captioned action are hereby dismissed with prejudice.”

“That is how every case ends after it is resolved,” explained Jabbari’s lawyer to the outlet.

The lawsuit was filed in March, accusing the Creed III star of assault, battery, malicious prosecution, defamation, and “intentional infliction of emotional abuse.” Last year, the 35-year-old was found guilty in criminal court of assault and harassment relating to an incident with Jabbari. He was sentenced to one year of in-person counseling and mandated participation in a domestic violence intervention program for 52 weeks.

The lawsuit being dropped comes as the actor prepares to enter a new chapter in life. Earlier this week, Majors and his current romantic partner Meagan Good revealed their engagement. The two have been dating since last year amid Majors’ trial, with the Roll Bounce actress often supporting him in court.

“We did two proposals,” Good explained. “We were going to keep it to ourselves, but it was very—I was very shocked, and it was wonderful. And I was like, ‘Wait, are you serious?’”

Majors added, “Don’t do anything by half.”
