He expressed his discomfort with being videoed and photographed without consent, emphasizing that he values his privacy and personal boundaries.

He clarified that he does not consider himself a celebrity but rather a prophet, highlighting that he is not comfortable with being filmed in public settings.

Odumeje also warned that he would take action against those who continue to record him without his consent, stating that he would break the phones of anyone he catches doing so.

Stop videoing me when you see me on the road. I am not a celebrity; I am a prophet. I am more dangelous I will scatter that phone in spiritual,” he said in part.

In another story, Odumeje revealed that he was an armed robber and a terrorist at 14.

Odumeje while speaking disclosed that he grew up on a dangerous street in the Onitsha area of Anambra State.

The cleric made the disclosure while detailing his past and transformation from a life of crime to Christianity.

In a viral video of him addressing his members, Odumeje said growing up on a tough street pushed him into a life of crime.

He credited his transformation to his mother who introduced him to the path of salvation and guided him to Christ.

Odumeje said:

“I was born in Onitsha city, No. 3, Nnewi Street, and I grew up in a dangerous street. I became an armed robber at the age of 14. I became a terrorist. Until Jesus Christ arrested me through the help of my mother to change my life. And a destroyer became a saviour.”
