Actress cum ex-beauty queen Princess Chineke joins US Army

  • Nollywood actress and former beauty queen Princess Chineke has made a groundbreaking career shift by joining the United States Army.
  • Chineke, who previously represented her state in the prestigious Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant and modeled in numerous commercials, billboards, and fashion shows, has officially taken the oath to serve in the U.S. military.
  • The actress made the announcement on her Instagram page hours ago.

Princess Chineke, a Nollywood actress has joined the U.S. Army

The former beauty queen who represented her state in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN, pageant has traded her crown for a soldier’s uniform, making a surprising career shift.

Princess once modelled for several television commercials, billboards and runways.

Princess Chineke’s decision to enlist has shocked many of her fans, who remember her for her captivating performances on screen.

Some of her works include; Battleground, Forever in Me, Last Flight to Abuja, Super Story, Papa Ajasco, Tales of Eve, Ada Mbano, To Love a Sister, Amaonyebuoneye, Give it Up, Masters at War, Give it Up, 2broken, Airline Bases, Mmeso, Royal Maid, Professor Johnbull, Ay show Skit etc.

However, the actress who was also a former Miss UNIBEN has expressed her passion for serving her adopted country. Princess Chineke said:

“I love the prestige that comes with the American military.

“As a citizen of this great country that has done so much for me, I feel it’s my turn to give back. God bless America.”

Taking to her Instagram page to share photos of herself in her uniform, she explained her decision, sharing her deep sense of duty and gratitude toward her adopted country. She wrote:

“l’m an American Soldier, I am Member of a team,
We are the Army and Proud of Our name, We are the Army and Proudly Proclaim.

I answered the call of Service to my Country, to serve the people of United States.

This i will defend, So help me God.

God bless America.

What God cannot do does not exist.”
