Ivy Ifeoma, the wife of singer Paul Okoye, recently responded to comments on social media regarding the colour of her breast milk.

The new mother had posted a video of her breast milk on Instagram, which led to a comment from a follower.

The follower had suggested that the milk appeared diluted and claimed that breast milk is typically yellowish in color.

“That thing you brought out is formula not breast milk. Breast milk is a bit yellowish”, the troll wrote.

In response, Ivy Ifeoma took to her Instagram story to provide an educational response, clarifying the misconceptions surrounding breast milk color.

She explained that the color of breast milk can vary, particularly in the initial stages when colostrum is present.

Ivy also emphasized the importance of not making assumptions or spreading misinformation, especially when it comes to new or expecting mothers.

She encouraged individuals to refrain from commenting on topics they are not familiar with.

“Some of you guys in the comments aren’t bright. When did all humans become the same? Do you know that the color changes over time? The ‘yellowish’ one is colostrum-infused.

“Don’t knock what you don’t know and don’t confuse new/expecting mums”, she said.
