In an exciting development for the global afrobeats scene, Rema has been announced as the first headliner for Afro Jam Japan 2025, the country’s largest afrobeats festival. Scheduled to take place across Okinawa, Osaka, and Tokyo in July 2025, the festival aims to bring the vibrancy of afrobeats to Japanese audiences and fans, marking a significant milestone for the culture. Organized by the same team that hosted Ne-Yo at the Tokyo Garden Theater in 2023, SFL Artist, Afro Jam has promised to unveil a high-energy lineup featuring popular international acts alongside rising stars.

Afro Jam Japan 2025 is not just about music but a celebration of the cultural explosion of afrobeats and dance in Japan. The festival’s diverse lineup and support from the Nigerian Embassy underscore its mission to foster cultural exchange and appreciation for African music and artistry.

More updates, including additional performers, are expected on the event’s official website and social media channels. Rema’s headliner announcement already sparked thrills amongst his fans in Africa, Japan and beyond.
