In a recent interview with Naija FM, Lagos, Blaqbonez provided clarity on the matter.

He revealed that he is currently 30 years old, dispelling rumors that suggested he was almost 40. When asked about the speculation, he stated:

“I am not close to 40. I am 30. But I guess that’s close to 40 than closer to zero,” he said.

In another news, Blaqbonez opens up on how his dad abandoned him at birth.

In a chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Blaqbonez disclosed that his dad abandoned him at birth. He explained that as a result, he wasn’t raised by his father.

“My Dad kind of dipped when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad,” he shared.

During the interview, Blaqbonez also declared himself “the best rapper in Africa.” He argued that no African rapper has a better discography than him. He boasted:

“I still think I am the best rapper ever in Africa. No one has a better discography than me.”

Last year, award-winning Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae declared Blaqbonez is the best rapper in Nigeria.

Blaqbonez also opened up about his cautious approach to sex in his intimate relationships.

The rapper explained to Chude Jidenowo the extra steps he takes to prevent false paternity claims.

He stated that “no one” could make such a claim against him, as he combines protection with the withdrawal method to eliminate any risk. Blaqbonez said:

“Nobody can remotely think, ‘Let me accuse Blaqbonez’ or ‘Let me do paternity fraud’. I pull out, even when I have protection.”
