Eminem Dishes On Joint Album With 50 Cent: ‘That Would Be Great’

Eminem and 50 Cent are both irrefutable Hall Of Fame talents in rap with nothing left to accomplish. However, fans have wanted them to do a collaborative album for a while and Slim Shady recently shared his thoughts on the idea.

The Detroit rapper had a conversation with his manager Paul Rosenberg on Christmas via the Shade 45 radio station, and Rosenberg expressed his desire to hear a full-length collaboration from the “Patiently Waiting” duo. “That would be great,” Eminem said. “We just gotta stop bullsh*tting and do it. I would never say it’s not possible.”

Rosenberg followed that up with, “I would love to hear it, so whenever you guys are ready, we’re putting it out.” This comes months after the “Not Afraid” rapper told DJ Whoo Kid he was urging the G-Unit leader to put out a new project. “I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad,” he said. “We need another 50 album like really bad. 50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour. I told him whatever the f**k he needs from me, I’m here. That sh*t’d be crazy, though — an album with me and him.”

Eminem and 50 Cent do have some recent collaborative momentum, having joined forces with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre earlier this month on “Gunz N Smoke” from their latest album Missionary. It was a vintage linkup of epic proportions, as the four men have provided some classic music together over the last thirty years.

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee is clearly in rapping shape as well, as he released his newest album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) back in July. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 281,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. JID, Big Sean, BabyTron, and more artists appeared on the LP.
