Kellyrae, the winner of ‘Big Brother Naija’ (BBNaija) Season 9, has hit back at critics who argue that he did not deserve the N100 million grand prize.

In a recent podcast hosted by fellow BBNaija housemate Adekunle Olopade, Kellyrae addressed claims made by some participants and fans, including Shaun, who believe he did not contribute significantly to the show.

The reality TV star asserted that those criticizing his victory are “not wise,” emphasizing that personal differences should not be a reason to discredit someone’s achievements.

He referenced the ongoing tensions between his wife, Kassia, and housemate Onyeka, pointing out that despite their strained relationship, he still acknowledges Onyeka’s talents.

Kellyrae further expressed his confusion over why some of his colleagues felt they were more deserving of the prize money than he and his wife.

He argued that such views are misguided, suggesting that those who hold them lack insight and wisdom.

“I don’t know what some of my colleagues saw in me in the house that made them feel they were more worthy of the prize money than my wife and I. It means you are actually a dull person. You are not wise,” Kellyrae said.
