DreamDoll has announced that she is expecting her first baby.
On New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), Dream took to Instagram to reveal the “secret” she’s been keeping for the last couple of months. The rapper referred to the milestone as an exciting “new chapter” and a “dream” she had for herself. DreamDoll’s lengthy announcement also gave thanks to her family and friends for supporting her on this new journey, showing gratitude to her support system.
“2024 has been a year of challenges, growth, and preparation. It reshaped me, taught me how to set boundaries, and helped me recognize what I allow into my life. But now, I’m stepping into 2025 with so much excitement for this new chapter becoming a mother,” she expressed. “This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and now, I’m living in the beauty of this incredible gift. There’s a promise with my name on it, and I’m embracing it with open arms.
“This year has taught me that growth doesn’t happen in isolation. What I’ve experienced weren’t just lessons they were breakthroughs. Seeking guidance, advice, and mentorship from those ahead of me has been invaluable. Surrounding myself with people who inspire and uplift me has been a key part of my journey…To my baby, you’ve given Mommy so much peace. You’ve given me all the reassurance and strength in the world and because of you, I know I’m going to be the best mother I can be. Everyone say hi to my Muffin.”
With the announcement, though, Internet reactions ensued. Netizens congratulated her forthcoming bundle of joy, while others pointed out that the post failed to mention the baby’s father. Some people took it a step further and brought up the rumor that DreamDoll was pregnant by soccer player Quincy Promes—a married man.
“If DreamDoll really is pregnant with Quincy’s Promes kid, then I honestly don’t know again” one account typed. “Apparently, Quincy is still legally married with 3 children and has been convicted for domestic violence against his wife and kids. It’s absolutely insane for a woman to still want to have anything to do with such a guy.”
DreamDoll apparently caught wind of the attempted rain one her blissful parade, grabbed an umbrella, and responded with a clear message: “LOUD & WRONG!!!!!!!”
