Cubana Chief Priest has set the record straight regarding a recent viral video showing Burna Boy gifting $30,000 to a man claimed to be his brother.

The nightlife mogul denied any familial relation to the recipient.

The controversy began when Burna Boy pledged to support the man, who had previously gone viral claiming to be struggling despite being related to Cubana Chief Priest.

Content creator, Lucky Uduh revealed in a video that went viral on Saturday that Burna Boy has fulfilled his promise of giving Cubana Chief Priest’s alleged brother $30,000.

In reaction to this, Cubana Chief Priest has now clarified that the man is not his brother.

On his Instastory, Cubana Chief Priest stated that he has only one biological brother and two sisters, all of whom are doing well.

He emphasized that he is not obligated to support his siblings and that the recipient of Burna Boy’s gift is unrelated to him.

On his Instastory, he wrote:

Alleged brother! Skit makers f**kin oppressors. Dem don kneel am down, you go still bend am down because the pain must reach everybody, but my own be say No alert oh no cash oh I wan just dey sure say my village boy collect for real. Na still my glorious glory. Make una show workings; na musician you fit even give am verse. I have only one biological big brother & two kid sisters. They ain’t doing so bad.

“Regardless, I owe them nothing, na my money, make everybody find their own.”
