Terryon Thomas, better known as “Mr. Prada” to his 8,000,000 followers, is now at the center of a murder case. A grand jury has formally indicted the famed TikToker on first-degree murder charges in connection with the September 2024 killing of Baton Rouge therapist, William Abraham.

The indictment, announced on Thursday (Jan. 16), will play out on trial, where Thomas could face the death penalty if convicted. Prosecutors have also charged him with “aggravated criminal damage to property, obstruction of justice, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.”

According to the Tribune, investigators believe the brutal murder took place in Thomas’ Baton Rouge apartment, as witnesses reportedly saw the influencer struggling to move a blue tarp—later confirmed to be holding Abraham’s lifeless body. A search of Thomas’ residence uncovered sharp objects, weapons, and what officials described as a large amount of blood.

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker called the crime “a very physical, very violent death” and the coroner determined that Abraham died from blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders.

Abraham’s body was discovered wrapped in a tarp and dumped along a highway in Tangipahoa Parish. Authorities say Thomas was later arrested in Dallas, Texas, allegedly attempting to flee in Abraham’s car.

The case has sent shockwaves through social media, with many of Thomas’ followers whispering about a “shift change” they noticed in him months leading up to the murder. Some say he seemed more withdrawn, alluding to “feeling lonely” and even made drastic changes to his appearance, including shaving his head and eyebrows.

While the motive behind the killing remains unclear, authorities have confirmed that Abraham had faced past accusations of inappropriate behavior during a therapy session. However, that case was dropped years ago, and officials have not linked it to the murder.

His attorney, Jarrett Ambeau, expressed devastation over his client’s tragic death. “I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like this could have happened to a man who I believed to be so tender, so gentle, and have such a servant’s heart.”

Thomas remains in custody without bond as he awaits trial. No court date has been set, but the case is receiving widespread attention as one of the most shocking crimes to emerge from the world of social media influencers.
