Jim Jones revealed that his diss track aimed at Cam’ron has been delayed.
Capo hopped on Instagram to reveal that his diss track, “JOMO,” is on the way, but his label told him to “slow down” on releasing it at the moment.
The post featured a throwback picture of Jimmy from when he was 16 years old, the current cover art for the forthcoming track. Jones’ post also detailed that the record would be released on Jan. 31 with an upcoming album date soon to be revealed on Thursday (Jan. 30).

Jim Jones has been teasing his diss track aimed at his former bandmate since Cam’s epic rant on It Is What It Is. Cam’s rant found him taking aim at Capo’s claim that he’s from Harlem and “made” Dipset. The Purple Haze emcee then echoed Ma$e’s claims that they taught “Jomo” how to rap and put him on.
“You were fanned out and you begged ni**as to come to your house after you heard all these mixtapes. That’s how you got in, ni**a,” Cam asserted.
“We taught you how to rap, ni**a. How you ran the whole organization? How you made Diplomats? Ni**a, you ain’t made none of this! You were a fan. I put you down ’cause you had a free crib and you were a nice guy…You’re a guardian angel in designer, ni**a. You are from the Bronx, bro. You are not from Harlem. I did not grow up with you, my ni**a.”
Jimmy teased his diss track in mid-January, directly responding to Cam’s assertions.
“Is he a Bronx, is he a Harlem ni**a?” Jones could be heard saying. “F**k all that, tell me what’s the problem, ni**a/I’m too thorough/I move through/my crew thorough/let me ask you a question because I’m a legend up in two Burroughs…Keep playing, my young boys will burn the earth down for me.”
