Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has faced backlash on social media after a video surfaced of her enthusiastically dancing to Naira Marley’s latest song, “Pxy Drip”.

The controversy surrounding Naira Marley’s involvement in the death of his signee, Mohbad, has led to a joint boycott of his music and associated artists, including Zinoleesky and Sam Larry.

However, despite the proposed boycott, Naira Marley’s new song has managed to gain significant traction on TikTok and streaming platforms, with many fans vibing to its nostalgic sound.

In a recent development, a video captured Ayra Starr grooving to the track, dishing out various captivating dance moves.

In reaction to the clip, many expressed disappointment and called for Ayra Starr to be cancelled for her perceived endorsement of Naira Marley’s music.

“I’m so disappointed in Ayra Starr for listening and promoting Naira Marley’s song. We need to cancel her!”
