  • The singer had on Thursday shared the video on social media but it generated significant backlash with netizens threatening to cancel her, just like Naira Marley.

Singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has taken down a video of herself dancing to Naira Marley’s new song ‘Pxy Drip (I’m Back)’ following heavy criticism from Nigerians.

The backwash stems from the controversy surrounding the Marlian Music boss, Naira Marley who was blacklisted by netizens in the music industry after the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.

Mohbad died on September 12, 2023, at age 27, sparking outrage after old videos surfaced showing him being bullied by Naira Marley’s associate, Sam Larry.

Naira Marley was accused of involvement in Mohbad’s death but was later cleared after spending time in police custody.
