  • Morayo Brown has drummed support for actress Annie Idibia, amid her divorce saga with her estranged husband, 2Baba.
  • This comes after the singer revealed they are separated, and confirmed his romantic relationship with a lawmaker and even proposed marriage.
  • Morayo who earlier fumed at 2Baba for leading Annie on took to Instagram to console the actress.

Morayo Afolabi Brown, one of Nigeria’s TV hosts and the anchor of TVC’s Your View, has assured Annie Macaulay-Idibia of her support and sisterhood solidarity.

Morayo gave the assurance amid the ongoing divorce drama between Annie and her husband, singer 2Baba.

Recall 2Baba recently announced his divorce from Annie and his engagement to a new lover, Natasha.

Following the engagement news, Morayo took to Instagram on Thursday to encourage Annie to stay strong and hold her crown high.

While offering her support, the TV host urged Annie to move forward with her life. Sharing a photo of Annie, she responded:

“Queen Annie, you may fall seven times, but the Bible says you will still rise! Hold your crown—no one can snatch it from you.

“Sisterhood got you! Your loving kids got you. This is life serving you lemons—I can’t wait to taste the sweetness of your lemonade! Keep your head up!”

This comes shortly after Morayo Brown weighed into the conversation surrounding 2Baba’s new relationship, following his unexpected separation from Annie Idibia.

Her strong opinion earned her more backlash than praise from some quarters.

During Your View programme, Morayo was captured passionately speaking about the situation. She emphatically stated that she does not think 2Baba should go scot-free after all that has happened.

The On Air personality maintained that he strung Annie along, and asked at what point he fell out of love with the actress.

Morayo Brown expressed her disappointment over the ace singer’s decision to move on with another woman after he has “damaged” Annie Idibia.
