  • Media personality, Lucky Udu shares his unwelcoming encounter with OAP Nedu.
  • He revealed that he once contacted Nedu to appear on his ‘Honest Bunch’ Podcast, but the response he got was quite condescending.

Content creator and social media influencer, Lucky Udu has come forward with a disturbing account of his encounter with Nedu, a popular OAP and former host of The Honest Bunch Podcast.

The revelation comes amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding the podcast and social media critic Verydarkman.

In a private audio recording, Lucky Udu shared his painful experience with Verydarkman, detailing how he expressed interest to be invited on the podcast to clear his name after being allegedly defamed by GehGeh.

However, things took a turn for the worse when Lucky Udu got on a call with Nedu, who reportedly dismissed him and offered him a chance to appear on the show only if he agreed to confront GehGeh live on air.

Lucky Udu declined, citing his reluctance to promote toxic behavior.

What’s more shocking is that Nedu allegedly threatened Lucky Udu, warning him not to share their conversation with anyone.

The encounter left Lucky Udu feeling belittled and intimidated.

In his words:

“You remember that period when people said ‘if Lucky Udu post you, your own don go?’ I lost a lot of opportunities, brands dissociated from me and my manager suggested going to Honest Bunch Podcast.

“Eventually, we got on a call with Nedu and he immediately, he said, ‘He doesn’t know me and has never seen my content before and doesn’t care about anything I do.’ He saw what GehGeh said about my platform and went through my platform and what he can say is that everything that guy said about my platform is true.

“He said I should just humble myself that he is inviting me to the podcast and be on my way to Lagos because GehGeh is on his way to the show too. He will be interviewing Gehgeh and he wants me to use that opportunity to challenge Gehgeh on the show but I turned it down because I don’t want to encourage bad behaviour.

“He spoke to me rude and said many thing. He told me this conversation must not get into anybody’s ear. He said I am supposed to bury my face in shame and come to the podcast to clear the air. He said I won’t like him if I ever share our encounter with anybody”
