  • BBNaija’s Tuoyo has raised an alarm regarding a rather disturbing trend that is affecting both the male and female gender.
  • The reality TV star asserted that hookups, prostitution and ‘runs’ have become the order of the day and is starting to gradually affect the society.
  • He stated that if prostitution continues, there are many dangers involved that could affect everyone, expressing concern about how young girls under the age of 18 have started engaging in hookups.

Big Brother Naija reality TV star Tuoyo Ideh has raised concerns about the increasing reliance on prostitution and hookups, warning that it could lead many people to a life of loneliness, sadness, and depression.

Taking to his Instagram Story, Tuoyo expressed his worries about how societal trends are shaping relationships, stating that the continuous normalization of paid sex could discourage people from pursuing real emotional connections and marriage.

He argued that many individuals have become accustomed to paying for sex, which removes emotional attachment, making it harder for them to build meaningful relationships.

Tuoyo also lamented the rise in underage prostitution, highlighting that young girls, some below 18, are engaging in the act and eventually giving birth to children they cannot care for. He further criticized the trend, stating that it promotes laziness among young women. The reality TV star wrote:

“If we continue to let prostitution and runs thrive in our community, many of us will never get married and we will ruin the world we leave in 😔,

many of you are used to paying for sex in which emotions are never involved, you all gon end up lonely, sad, and depressed. It has become so bad that even girls under 18 have started doing this , then you end up giving birth to children you can’t take care of , Prostitution (Runs) has made so many girls lazy that they don’t even plan to work again and you all want Respect 🫢.”
