Regina Daniels’ addresses claims of acquiring fake Rolex watch

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels who came under the radar of a luxury detective page has addressed claims of sporting a fake Rolex wristwatch.

Shortly after returning to Instagram after briefly deactivating her page, Regina Daniels amid whispers of going through a marital crisis with her billionaire husband Ned Nwoko, shared a video of herself unboxing her new Rolex watch, bragging that it cost $30,000.

However, days after Regina’s unboxing video, a luxury detective page identified as @T20luxury on Monday March 10, shared a post where the young actress’ Rolex was analyzed.

The wristwatch was labelled fake, with some explanations given as to how they reached their verdict.

It was said that the watch Regina Daniels unboxed was a vintage model and wasn’t supposed to come in a modern box. It also said that the date lens was missing, and the colour of the box’s internal lining was not precise.

The fake verdict given to Regina Daniels’ Rolex wristwatch quickly became a trending topic on social media with many storming her page to alert her attention.

Reacting to it, Regina tagged her brother to the post, urging him to explain himself. She wrote:

“Brother @sweezzy1 Abeg come and explain yourself because I don’t understand what’s going on here”.

Her brother responded to her call-out via his Instagram story, sharing clearer photos to counter the claim made by the detective page. He then accused the Italian shopping luxury brand of wanting traffic, hence posting fake reports. He wrote:

“Dear @t20luxury, contrary to your post about Regina’s Rolex, I hope this helps you get a clearer insight into what you seek.

As you post negative, post positive. Let’s be guided!! Regina’s name go make all of us mad last last.

And I rate you before o. He say he no see the date like well werey”.
