Yung Miami‘s highly anticipated Club Shay Shay episode has the internet all in a frenzy with her various hot takes on topics like dating and infidelity.
The rapper mentioned that she’d stay after being cheated on, but after the fourth time, she’s out the door. And the door of public opinion swung open, leaving so much room for unwarranted thoughts on her stance. So, she explained what she meant in a separate video.
“My n***a got four times to cheat on me before I leave and the internet love to be like ‘Oh my God. She’s so motherf**kin’ dumb.’ In reality, we all done got cheated on and stayed,” said the 31-year-old mother of two.
Miami continued, “If you really in love with your n***a, y’all locked in, it’s not easy to walk away. [Now], there’s some women that’ll get the f**k on. Some women will—the first time they man cheat? They’re out.”
She doubled down on the idea that it’s “not easy to walk away,” adding, “After you done built something with somebody, y’all done been together for so long, it hurts. Of course you wanna leave, but you’re not just gonna leave […] Some women just not leaving their man.”
For her, the first time can be forgiven, but the betrayal stings. “Yeah, you hurting me. I can’t believe you would do this to me. Okay cool. We probably gon’ get back together, but our relationship will never be the same,” she expressed. “Second time, it’s like ‘Oh, so you a cheater.’ Third time, I’m already cheating back. Fourth time, you got to go b***h.”
