Yung Miami found herself at the center of social media controversy over the weekend after being accused of trying to insert herself into the orbit of rising football star Shedeur Sanders.
On Saturday (April 26), shortly after Sanders was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft with the 144th overall pick, the City Girls rapper posted a heartfelt congratulatory message to Shedeur and the Sanders family.
“I love seeing BLACK JOY s/o to the Sanders,” Yung Miami wrote on Instagram, tagging Shedeur’s account and even adding the quarterback’s signature “legendary” slogan to the post.

Later that evening, Yung Miami posed for a picture with Shedeur at his draft party, a move that led many on social media to speculate that she was trying to gain clout by cozying up to the young athlete.
In response, the Caresha Please host clapped back at critics, making it clear that her support came from a genuine place.
“Yall b*tches don’t know what ‘Supporting your ppl’ look like!!!!” Yung Miami wrote in response to her critics. “Everything ain’t d*ck & p*ssy!!!!!”

Yung Miami also challenged accusations about her sexual history, daring her detractors to back up their claims. “Name 3 ni**as I been with. Name em…..” she wrote in a separate post.
When one user attempted to list incarcerated mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and the fathers of her two children, Yung Miami shot back, arguing that her children’s fathers shouldn’t count. “NO! My bd’s don’t count when yall calling me a h*e NAME THE Ni**AS IM F**KING!!!!!!!!.”
Frustrated with the ongoing speculation, she added in another post: “I’m so P & lowkey but sometimes I be wanting to break the internet.”

Yung Miami’s love life has been the center of speculation for quite some time, as she made headlines after first being romantically linked to Combs in 2021, with the pair going public with their “open relationship” the following year.
The Florida native was also accused of being a “sex worker” for Combs amid the mogul’s alleged sex trafficking and racketeering operation, for which he was arrested and indicted in 2024.
Yung Miami has denied all allegations connecting her to Combs’ alleged crimes.
