Slikour Reflects On Kwesta’s New Project And The Power Of Brotherhood In SA Hip-Hop. Rap legend Siya “Slikour” Metane took to social media to share a heartfelt moment behind Kwesta’s latest release, The Big Bro Theory.

In a candid post, Slikour revealed that Kwesta had sent him a track back in 2023, a song that not only showcased his admiration for rising star Touchline but also hinted at his own readiness to step away from the game. “Clearly that never lasted long,” Slikour quipped, acknowledging the seasoned rapper’s continued fire and resilience.
Alongside the backstory, Slikour posted an image featuring himself, Kwesta, and Touchline—an iconic trio of East Rand talent. “This picture is what Generations would be if it was a rap telenovela,” he joked, before turning reflective. Witnessing this moment of mutual respect between generations of rappers moved him deeply.
“It’s humbling that God has kept me to see and be a part of the music journey of these East Rand ghetto kings,” Slikour wrote. “To see them passing flowers and love to each other is something I couldn’t even create. God is the orchestral and this is His orchestration.”
He closed his message with a prayer for more love, music, money, and divine guidance for the artists, encouraging fans to stream the project and support the movement.
