The 4th Annual Gold House Gold Gala lit up the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles this weekend (May 11), bringing together a star-studded guestlist of creatives and changemakers to honor the achievements of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
Hosted by Gold House — an organization dedicated to championing AAPI leaders across industries — the black-tie affair spotlighted cultural icons, groundbreaking talent, and this year’s A100 list: the 100 most impactful Asian Pacific figures shaping today.
Among the standout attendees was Grammy-nominated singer, Jhené Aiko, who wore a vibrant hot pink Chloé gown, paired with gold sandals and a stunning diamond necklace. Others in attendance included Megan Thee Stallion who donned an abstract, sheer black gown and Anderson .Paak who kept it simple with a black tux. Additional guests included actress R&B singer H.E.R, actress Mindy Kaling, model Chrissy Teigen, R&B John Legend, Tan France, Brenda Song, Sandra Oh, Laufey, Liza Koshy and more.
The evening honored cultural titans such as Oscar-winning director Ang Lee, marking the 25th anniversary of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Wicked director and Gold House co-founder Jon M. Chu, and Megan Thee Stallion, who was recognized for her creative collaborations uplifting AAPI voices, amongst others recipients of the night.
