Brandy and Monica are rumored to be hitting the road on the highly-anticipated The Boy Is Mine Tour.
Ticketmaster seemingly spoiled the surprise on Monday (May 19) when fans noticed a few tour dates in select cities on the website with pre-sale tickets being available starting on May 28 at 10 a.m. ET. The “announcement” was taken down as screenshots gained traction, but before then, many peeped that the lineup included Kelly Rowland and Muni Long.
The tour rumor has been swirling for over a year especially after Ray J expressed how Monica and Brandy would “make history” by touring together.
Last July, Brandy hinted at it being in the works when telling Extra, “I hit [Monica] up so much talking about all the things that we could do together — tour, residency, everything. I really want that. Monica, I really want that.”
None of the women, though, have confirmed the tour. However, with this being in such demand, VIBE created the ideal setlist for Brandy and Monica’s potential The Boy Is Mine tour.

Muni Long
Image Credit: Christopher Polk/Billboard via Getty Images Muni Long can kick off the show with the hit that catapulted her into mainstream success, “Hrs & Hrs.”
To merge her Public Displays Of Affection era with her Revenge era, we need to hear “Cartier,” “Make Me Forget,” “Slow Grind,” “Ruined Me,” “The Baddest,” “No R&B,” “Plot Twist,” and a preview of some new music.
She can then close of the set with the Grammy-winning hit, “Made For Me.”

Kelly Rowland
Image Credit: River Callaway/Variety via Getty Images We may not know if/when a Destiny’s Child reunion is coming, but Kelly Rowland can take the lead. She can incorporate her post-DC hits like “Dilemma,” “Like This,” “Here We Go,” “Finally,” “Daylight,” “Motivation,” “Lay It On Me,” and “Coffee.”
Then, of course, we need a Destiny’s Child medley with classics including “Bad Habit,” “If,” “Soldier,” “Cater 2 U,” “Lose My Breath,” “So Good,” and “Bootylicious.” Regardless of what she performs, we’ll be sat because seeing Kelly onstage will be like rain after a drought.

Brandy/Monica

Starting off strong with Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down” and Monica’s “Like This And Like That.” As they glide through their storied discographies, we need to hear Brandy’s “Full Moon,” “Sittin’ Up In My Room,” “Baby,” “Top Of The World,” “Afrodisiac,” “Put It Down,” “What About Us?,” and “U Don’t Know Me (Like U Used To).”
From Monica, we need “Don’t Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days),” “Everytime Tha Beat Drop,” “Sideline Ho,” “Knock Knock,” “A Dozen Roses (You Remind Me),” “Letters,” “Friends,” “Trenches,” “Commitment,” and “Hustler’s Ambition.”
In the middle of that, we need a section just for the ballads: “Before You Walk Out Of My Life,” “Angel Of Mine,” “For You I Will,” “U Should’ve Known Better,” “Everything To Me,” “Almost Doesn’t Count,” “Have You Ever,” “Angel In Disguise,” and “Brokenhearted.” As an added bonus, Brandy can bring out her daughter Sy’Rai to sing her Daniel Caesar duet, “LOVE AGAIN.”
The show should conclude with a medley of Ariana Grande’s “the boy is mine (remix)” with Brandy and Monica’s original version.
