DJ Khaled decided to do some intense cardio with social media influencer Ashton Hall in a serious, but funny Instagram post made on Thursday (May 22).

The Grammy-winning producer — wearing only a weighted vest, shorts and sneakers — sprinted alongside Hall in front of two Maybachs.

“ALBUM [MODE] ! AALAM OF [GOD]” he captioned the video.

Khaled teased the link-up the day before with a photo captioned, “Today decided to go to the gym! Meet my trainer.”

In another TikTok showing the behind-the-scenes footage from their run, he gave more Khaled-isms as he said, “We don’t lose weight. All we do is win. Now we might get rid of weight, but we don’t lose weight.”

Hall could be heard in the background figuring out a strategy for their video as well as co-signing Khaled. “We living,” he said.

During their training session, Khaled also gave Hall his flowers, telling him that his videos were a major source of inspiration.

“First thing I told you, I was like, ‘Yo, your videos inspire me… Pull out the black truck,’” Khaled recalled. Hall replied, “Yeah, less than 24 hours ago,” confirming just how fast Khaled moved to turn motivation into motion. Khaled kept the moment going: “I said bring me the vest… the [athletic] tape… we gotta document the moment.”

As some remember, Hall went viral for his insane “morning routine.”

Aside from staring his fitness journey, Khaled is gearing up for Aalam of God, his 14th studio album which he first announced back in February with a cinematic teaser starring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos.

Khaled unveiled the since-deleted seven-minute action-packed trailer which shows Khaled securing a safeguarded briefcase containing his new album, while Wahlberg relentlessly tries to get his hands on it. The Ted actor then attempts to enlist Ramos (Hamilton) — who plays a friend of Khaled — to help him retrieve the album by any means.

Directed by Eif Rivera, the trailer is an entire adrenaline rush, showcasing the father-of-two in high-speed chases, dodging gunfire, leaping off buildings, and nearly escaping into a getaway car where Ramos awaits him. Meanwhile, Wahlberg kind of spills the beans about Khaled’s rumored collaborations. The actor can be heard teasing that the album has “two Drake songs” before pondering whether Jay-Z might deliver “another f**king 100-bar verse” as he did on “God Did.”

To add even more hype, Khaled takes a dramatic phone call where he delivers the final line: “Send Rihanna the record.”
