Ja Rule brought in his Memorial Day weekend by walking daughter Brittney Atkins down the aisle in a Great Gatsby-themed wedding.
“Such an amazing moment for any father to walk his daughter down the isle… love you Babygirl,” Rule captioned a photo of him and his daughter on her special day.
On Friday (May 23), the 29-year-old said “I do” to her longtime love Tevin Aitken, 31, at Villa Barone Hilltop Manor in Mahopac, New York. According to People, the ceremony was set in beautiful outdoor scenery including cascading waterfalls, grand staircases, and mountaintop views, all witnessed by 250 guests. The wedding was even concluded by fireworks.
Brittney, the eldest child of Ja Rule and his wife Aisha Atkins, exchanged heartfelt, handwritten vows with Tevin in an intimate moment before making her way down the aisle to the soulful R&B classic “For You” by Kenny Lattimore. She stunned in a sparkling gown that she wore all night long, while Tevin looked dapper in an ivory suit. The wedding party brought the style, too, with the bridesmaids radiating in rust tones, and the groomsmen donning olive.
After the couple tied the knot, guests were treated to butler-passed hors d’oeuvres before entering a ballroom decked out in of peach florals. The lovers also shared their first dance to Alex Isley’s “About Him,” ahead of guests savoring entrees followed by floral-decorated cake.

Reportedly, Bittney and Tevin’s love story began when they met on a dating app and clicked immediately. For their very first date, the couple shared that they went apple picking, something Brittney casually mentioned she wanted to do.
Last September, Tevin proposed while they vacationed on a beach in Jamaica — his birthplace. In a monochromatic video, Tevin could be seen dropping to one knee in the sand to pop the question. Brittney emotionally said yes.
She later shared the moment on Instagram with the caption, “ISSA WIFE.”
