Cardi B is responding loudly and clearly to Offset’s recent move in their divorce proceedings, which now includes a request for spousal support.
The rapper took to X Spaces to voice her frustration, saying, “Word to my mother… I want you to die but I want you to die slow. And while you dying you gotta think of me. Let me tell y’all something, when I first filed for divorce, my lawyer started filing sh*t, and this ni**a started spazzing.”
Cardi went on to explain that the only reason why the former Migos rapper wants financial support from her is because she asked for “everything” in their divorce and “she’s not with her kids.” She also rejected Offset’s claims that he doesn’t see his kids, alleging that he’s stood their children up and has only seen their newborn Blossom “five times.”

Her comments follow Offset’s amended court filing earlier this month with the new financial request. While the filing doesn’t specify an amount, it marks a noticeable shift from what initially appeared to be an amicable split. The request reportedly stems from the gap in their net worths — Cardi B is estimated to be worth between $80-100,000,000, while Offset’s is reportedly around $30,000,000.
Offset is also seeking joint custody of their three children, although Cardi’s home is listed as the primary residence. Both parties have agreed to cover their own legal fees.
This is far from the first time Cardi has spoken candidly about her ill feelings toward her estranged husband. In a post on X back in October, she wrote, “Bro I wish the worst on this man. I never hated somebody soooo much and these bi**hes be so [thirsty] to have him.” She added, “Please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is too heavy.”

When some followers pushed back, reminding her that she chose to start a family with Offset, Cardi doubled down. “Yea he is, that’s why I don’t wish him death… but I truly hate this dirty a** narcissistic piece of sh*t…. And his family and his friends never check him.”
She added, “He really is just a dark cloud on anybody life he enters,” even going as far as to say, “I don’t want him dead, but to get hit by a f**king truck.”

The pair, who filed for divorce again in August, have had a history of public breakups and reconciliations. But this time, things seem to be final. Cardi has moved on to NFL star Stefon Diggs, as the pair has been spotted out together on multiple occasions. Set has been spotted with a few women here and there.
Speaking to Cardi’s new relationship, Offset responded to a comment about the couple online that read, “Offset punching the air,” with “I’m happy for her !!”
