Former NFL defensive back Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested this past weekend near Cincinnati, Ohio—the same city where he spent the bulk of his football career.
According to court records, the 41-year-old was taken into custody early Saturday morning, June 7, in Covington, just across the river from Cincinnati.
Jones was booked at the Kenton County jail and faces multiple charges, including alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct, and assault of a police officer or a probation officer. He was released later that day after posting a $10,000 bond.

Jones, once a dynamic and feared presence on the field, has a long history of off-field issues. After a standout college career at West Virginia, he was drafted sixth overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2005 NFL Draft.
His career got off to a promising start but was derailed in 2007 when he was suspended for the entire season for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. The Titans later traded him to the Dallas Cowboys, where he played just one season.
In 2010, Jones signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, the team with which he would enjoy his most productive seasons.

Known for his aggressive playing style and versatility, he earned First Team All-Pro honors in 2014 and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2015. Jones wrapped up his 12-year NFL career with a one-season stint at the Denver Broncos before retiring in 2019.
Despite his athletic accolades, Jones’ post-retirement years—and even much of his playing career—have been marked by frequent legal trouble. His most recent arrest adds to a lengthy list of incidents that have overshadowed an otherwise accomplished career on the gridiron.
