K.O Confirms End Of ‘SR’ Series As He Opens Door To Final Chapter With ‘Phara City.’ After years of lyrical excellence and cultural imprint, K.O has officially closed the curtain on one of the most iconic series in South African hip-hop history — the “Skhanda Republic” saga.
The revelation came in response to a fan’s question that echoed the curiosity of many loyal supporters. The fan asked: “Sir, since we have #PharaCity, does this mean we’re not getting #SR4?”
K.O’s answer was direct, bittersweet, and telling of a man content with his artistic legacy:
“SR series is done. If Phara City ends up being my last album, I won’t be mad at that.”
The “SR” trilogy — Skhanda Republic (2014), SR2 (2017), and SR3 (2022) — defined an era.
