Michael Blackson is a proud papa, once again. The comedian and actor took to Instagram on Tuesday (June 17) to announce the arrival of his newborn son with fiancée Rada Darling.
Sharing an adorable video of the baby boy, Blackson comedically captioned the post, “Happiest day of my life and no DNA needed lol. Meet lil Mikey.”

The couple first shared they were expecting earlier this year, when Rada posted a playful update revealing her growing bump. “My stomach kept growing, I thought it was weight gain…..No, I’ve confirmed 7 times that it’s not a food baby that I’m carrying,” she joked in February. “We both are ecstatic….we can’t wait to meet our little miracle.”
By May, they had thrown an elegant baby shower surrounded by close friends and family, with Rada expressing heartfelt gratitude for the love and support. “There are no words to describe the thankfulness I feel from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote at the time. “It’s great to know that baby Blackson will come into this world surrounded by love.”
The arrival of “Lil Mikey” makes Blackson a father of four, joining his older son Michael Jr., 26, and 17-year-old twins Niko and Noah from previous relationships.
Blackson and Rada have been engaged since July 2021, though they’ve claimed that they are in no rush to tie the knot. “Sometimes you need more time,” Blackson told VladTV in 2023. “You want to be really, really set with everything before you make that step.”
Two years later, the Next Friday star took their long-standing relationship to another level, popping the question to Darling live on air during an interview with The Breakfast Club. As his sit-down with the hosts wrapped up, Blackson called Rada into the studio to meet the hosts. Charlamagne tha God wasted no time stirring the pot, telling her, “He said he gonna marry you… he said he wanna get married, Rada!”
Rada, caught off guard but quick on her feet, turned to Blackson and said, “You told me that the other day! You going back on it now?” Without missing a beat, Blackson reached into his bag, pulled out a ring, and dropped to one knee right then and there. “Rada, I love you. Will you marry me?” he asked.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Rada tearfully said yes and sealed the moment with a laugh and a cheeky response: “Yes! Bye side bi**hes, yes!”
