A$AP Rocky seems to take aim at former associate A$AP Relli in a new track previewed during his Rolling Loud California performance.
On Saturday (March 15), the Harlem rep took time out of his headlining set to tease the unreleased track, which doesn’t mention Relli by name, but is widely believed to target the disgraced A$AP Mob member.
The track finds Rocky taking a lyrical jab at former affiliates of his crew, attributing their conduct to their own thirst for success and fame.

“Ni**as do the most when they irrelevant/ Claiming A$AP, but we were never friends,” Rocky rhymes on the preview. The lines which many have attributed to his falling out with Relli, who accused the rapper of shooting him during a confrontation in 2021.
The apparent diss follows Rocky’s recent legal victory over Relli, as he was found not guilty of felony assault charges, dodging a potential 24-year prison sentence.

Relli, born Terell Ephron, claimed the incident left him injured and in fear for his life, but Rocky maintained that he was in possession of a prop gun, not an actual firearm, at the time of the alleged altercation.
While Rocky was successful in eluding a criminal conviction, he still has the specter of a civil case looming over him, as Ephron is seeking damages in relationship to the alleged incident.
Despite presenting himself as a victim, Relli has garnered little sympathy from the Hip-Hop community, instead becoming a punchline for the likes of 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar.

The latter went as far as to reference Ephron’s testimony against Rocky on one of his new collaborations with Playboi Carti on Carti’s new album, MUSIC.
“Eliantte go big, white gold link fall on the belly/ The emerald cuff for hers and his, that bi**h on point like A$AP Relli,” the Grammy winner rhymes on the song “GOOD CREDIT,” evidence that Epron’s courtroom exploits will not be forgotten anytime soon.
