President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has been thrown into mourning following the sudden demise of his mother-in-law.

The actor and guild leader shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, expressing his profound sorrow over the loss.

In his post, Rollas described his mother-in-law as his “pillar” and revealed that her passing was unexpected, as she had no prior health issues.

Accompanying his tribute was a candlelight photo symbolizing his grief, Rollas wrote:

“SUDDENLY. NO SICKNESS 😭😭😭😭
My mother-in-law has been a pillar. 😭😭😭😭😭
We can’t question God.
@actorsguildofnigeria”

The post drew an outpouring of condolences from celebrities and industry figures.

Actor Fredrick Leonard wrote, “My heartfelt condolences.”

President of TAMPAN, Mr. Latin added, “My heartfelt condolences Mr. President.”

The Executive Director of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) Shaibu Husseini commented, “My condolences, very heartfelt.

Actor Charles Inojie also wrote, “My heartfelt condolences. May God comfort you and every member of your family in this difficult time.

Emeka Rollas has been serving as the AGN president since 2019.

His leadership tenure was reaffirmed when he was re-elected in 2022.

Meanwhile, Big Brother Naija’s Hermes Iyele’s mother is dead. Hermes shared a touching post through his verified Instagram account, announcing her demise.

Mrs Isioma Ohebian Iyele was said to have died on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Hermes revealed in parts that he was on a work trip when he heard the heart wrenching announcement.

In a similar manner, Nigerian actor Kunle and Aremu Afolayan’s actress mother, Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan died at the age of 81.

The actors took to their individual official Instagram pages in the early hours of November 2, 2024, to share the sad news of their mother’s demise.
