Alicia Keys takes the “Whisper Challenge” on “The Tonight Show,” where she was able to use her hip-hop knowledge to beat Jimmy Fallon.

The singer and host took turns guessing random song lyrics while wearing noise-canceling headphones. One of the songs Alicia had to perform during the game was 1988’s “It Takes Two” by Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock.

Later, she was asked to guess lyrics from DMX’s “Party Up (Up In Here),” which her husband Swizz Beatz produced in 2000. Keys was able to guess the track and she celebrated with an impromptu dance.

While she was a “Girl on Fire,” Jimmy was much less successful, giving up when it was his turn to guess. Other songs included in the game included Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” and Camila Cabello’s Young Thug-collaboration “Havana.”

Elsewhere on the show, Keys shared adorable footage of her 3-year-old beatboxing.[tooltip id=”4500c2f113202943ff1ae30d00c9d4ac”] [/tooltip]“I was thinking maybe we could be like the new Jackson 5,” she said of her talented family, before revealing that she’s working on new material.[tooltip id=”4500c2f113202943ff1ae30d00c9d4ac”] [/tooltip]“New music is coming so soon,” she promised.
