Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has resurfaced online with a poignant revelation, offered his followers a glimpse into the storm that had kept him away.

In a recent clip circulating online, the brand ambassador, visibly weighed down by grief, disclosed that he had retreated from social media to mourn the passing of his elder brother, who died last month, January. His somber expression told a story of loss that words could barely capture.

Obasi opened up about how the demands of funeral arrangements and other responsibilities consumed his days,left little room for anything else.

With a grateful heart, he acknowledged those who reached out during his time away from social media.

What stood out, however, was how swiftly Obasi transitioned from grief to growth. In the same video, he seamlessly shifted into brand influencing mode, his tenacity on full display.

Back in January 2025, Obasi had captured public attention with a major endorsement deal that thrust him into the limelight. He signed a multimillion-naira agreement with the renowned real estate and oil and gas conglomerate, A.A. Emmaco Group.

A video shared by the company on its official Facebook page showcased a beaming Obasi shaking hands with the CEO, marking the beginning of what seemed to be a promising chapter in his journey.

This came after his emotional public plea, where he spoke painfully about the years of pain and injustice he had endured while with the actress.
