Kendrick Lamar held nothing back on his surprise album, GNX, this past weekend, and even non-rappers caught some jabs. He addressed Andrew Schulz for a racist joke he made in the past and the comedian responded.

“Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black women—that’s law,” the 37-year-old rapper stated on his GNX opening track “wacced out murals.” While he did not mention anyone by name, many people believed this was a reference to the Brilliant Idiots host and a controversial joke from August. He invited James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu of the ShxtsNGigs podcast onto his show and had a conversation about how White men change when in relationships with Black women.

“You’ll see a guy who’s had a Black girlfriend, and all of a sudden he’s got a buzz cut, clean shape-up, tattoos,” Duncan stated. “They shave their hair because they start losing it from being so stressed, being around this Black girl that’s complaining about sh*t all the f**king time,” Schulz added. “They grow a beard because there’s more cushion when they get slapped.”

DJ Akademiks claims that he spoke with Andrew Schulz about Kendrick Lamar’s bars directed at him. The controversial media personality claimed that Schulz said “Is this guy too woke to understand a joke?” Whether or not K. Dot was talking about him, clearly the Flagrant host either took the line personally, or just felt the need to take up his sword for his fellow white comedians.

Lamar was a bit more direct in mentioning other people, namely Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne. He reflected on the Long Beach, Calif. rapper posting Drake’s “Taylor Made Freestyle” and what he thought may have caused that. “Snoop posted ‘Taylor Made,’ I prayed it was the edibles/ I couldn’t believe it, it was only right for me to let it go,” he rapped. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper reacted on X.

“K dot new album GNX,” he wrote with a bunch of fire and microphone emojis. “It was the edibles,” he added with a facepalm and laughing emoji before calling reiterating their West Coast allegiance. Lil Wayne, however, didn’t take his mention as nicely.

“Used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud/ Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down/ Whatever, though, call me crazy, everybody questionable/ Turn me to an eskimo, I drew the line and decimals,” Kendrick Lamar rapped, referring to him being picked for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show and Weezy F. Baby expressed his disappointment on a few occasions.

“Man wtf I do?!” Wayne asked on X. “I just be chillin & dey still kome 4 my head. Let’s not take kindness for weakness. Let this giant sleep. I beg u all. No one really wants destruction, not even me but I shall destroy if disturbed. On me. Love.”
