Bad Bunny took to social media to speak out against the actions of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Taking to Instagram Stories, the Puerto Rican pop star described the individuals who carry out the polarizing raids as “motherf**kers” and shared a clip of people allegedly being detained in the island country.

The 24-hour-timed upload was published on Tuesday (June 17) and viewed by VIBE in the allotted time frame. In the clip, the “la canción” performer spoke in Spanish and described his views on the violent political actions allegedly depicted in the video.

“Those motherf**kers are in these cars, RAV-4s,” exclaimed the 31-year-old, as translated by Rolling Stone. They came here… Sons of bi**hes, instead of letting the people alone and working.” According to RS, the video showed people being placed into unmarked cars on Avenida Pontezuela in Carolina, Puerto Rico.

According to NPR, Rebecca González-Ramos, ICE’s top investigator on the island, estimated about 20,000 immigrants without legal citizenship resided in Puerto Rico, which is a U.S. territory. She claimed that as of earlier this month, ICE agents in Puerto Rico have arrested almost 500 people for deportation in the four months since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

“Our mandate,” she explained to the news outlet, “is 100 percent. So everybody that’s in the United States, and in this case in Puerto Rico, without an immigration status, needs to be removed or deported.”

She later added, “I can definitely see where they can be concerned and worried. It’s a change in somebody’s life. But I don’t see a reason for them to be scared or live in fear, because the message is very simple. If you do not have a status in the United States, you have to leave. They’re not going to be mistreated. They have mechanisms to leave on their own. I see how they can be concerned. But afraid? Or to live in fear? I don’t see a reason for that.”
