Tonight (June 9), stars from all over the globe are gathering in sunny Los Angeles, Calif., to attend the 2025 BET Awards. This year marks an extra special commemoration as the network celebrates its 25th iteration of the show, and Hollywood’s finest made sure to step out in their Monday’s best for the occasion.
Industry veterans like Jermaine Dupri, well-loved singers Ashanti, Rayven Lenae, Amerie, and Mýa, along with actresses Tisha Campbell and Tia Mowry, and plenty more punctually hit the red carpet. Tonight’s festivities are jam-packed with special guests, tributes, and more, with the night doubling as a big family reunion for entertainment’s elite.
Taking the stage will be 5x GRAMMY Award-winning icon Lil Wayne, trailblazing multi-hyphenate Teyana Taylor with “a one night only legendary performance unlike anything you’ve seen before,” certified hitmaker GloRilla, enigmatic superstar Playboi Carti, and GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Leon Thomas.
In terms of nominations, Kendrick Lamar leads the pack this year with 10 total nods. Following that, Drake, Doechii, Future, and GloRilla are tied with six nominations each. Metro Boomin earned five noms, and SZA and The Weeknd are tied with four.
