Beyoncé pulled off yet another unforgettable moment during her fourth Cowboy Carter tour stop in New Jersey on Wednesday (May 28).
Following a rainy, yet perfected performance at MetLife Stadium, Bey took a moment to deliver gender reveal results to first-time-parents. Earlier in the night, Bey scoped out the sign in the crowd that requested her help with the reveal. Sticking to her tight setlist, the global icon promised the fan, “I’ll be back. I’m going to do it later.”
And true to her word, she came back when the time was right.
“I had to come back to you. I didn’t want to rush this, because this is important,” she said before the jam-packed stadium. “A once-in-a-lifetime gender reveal. I had to take my time.”
Kneeling gracefully, the mama-of-three carefully opened the manilla envelope, and with a smile, she read one word: “Cowboy.” She then turned to the soon-to-be-parents and confirmed, “It’s a boy,” as everyone erupted into applause and screams.

The Cowboy Carter tour, which launched April 28 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, has been more than just a concert, but a culture-shifting celebration of music, identity, and Southern Blackness. Keeping it all about family, Beyoncé has used this tour to shine light on her youngest daughter, Rumi Carter, who’s had her moment to shine alongside her older sister Blue.
The Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour will hit four more cities before wrapping up in Las Vegas on July 26. Take a look at Bey delivering the heartwarming news to the parents-to-be above.
