In another news, Drake, WizKid’s One Dance breaks records, becomes first song to hit one billion streams on Spotify

The announcement, made by Guinness World Records (GWR) on Twitter, celebrates the track’s immense popularity and enduring influence in the music industry.

Released in 2016, “One Dance” quickly became a global sensation, topping charts and breaking multiple records.

Its catchy beat and infectious rhythm cemented its place in music history as one of the most iconic tracks of the streaming era.

GWR’s tweet read:

The first song to reach one billion streams on Spotify was One Dance by Drake, Wizkid, and Kyla,” recognizing the groundbreaking achievement.

The Canadian rapper Drake had in 2024 lost a staggering $355,000 following Jake Paul’s victory over boxing legend Mike Tyson.

The much-anticipated boxing match took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, after a year of heated exchanges between the two fighters.

Despite Tyson’s iconic status, it was Paul who triumphed with a unanimous decision, proving Drake’s faith in the former heavyweight champion to be misplaced
