Popular Nollywood Yoruba actress, Bimpe Akintunde better known as Wasila Coded has shared a valuable lesson she learned after watching her colleague Lateef Adedimeji’s new movie, Lisabi.

In a post on her Instagram page, the actress noted the indispensable role of women as a support system in the success of men.

Reflecting on the movie’s narrative, Bimpe noted that the film’s protagonist, Lisabi, triumphed in the Oloyo war due to the unwavering support of a brave woman, Ikeola.

She stressed that even the mightiest of men need the strength and partnership of a courageous woman to achieve their goals. She wrote:

“So I saw LISABI this mid night, and I realize that no matter how powerful you are as a man, without the support of a woman it’s likely you keep trying and never win, LISABI won the Oloyo war, because of A backup of a Brave Woman IKEOLA, moral lesson…..

“Dear Men, God wasn’t foolish when He created women as your backbone and support system.

“If you are a man and God blesses you with a brave woman to support you in your journey, learn to appreciate and adore her. A brave woman will go to war with her husband and make sure he wins, even laying down her life for him.”

Bimpe Akintunde extended her prayers to women who play supportive roles in their relationships, urging them to channel their efforts toward the right people.

She also took the opportunity to praise Lateef Adedimeji and his wife, Ayobami Adebimpe, for their exceptional work, urging fans to watch Lisabi on Netflix and explore episodes of her series Iriri Mi on WasilaCodedTV. She added:

“Kudos to my Egba bloodline, Lateef Adedimeji, and my blessed Ayaba, Detola Adebimpe. I celebrate you both.”
