Angela “Blac Chyna” White and Derrick Milano have officially called off their engagement. White revealed the news on social media last week on the Independence Day holiday. Shared on her Instagram story, where uploads automatically expire after 24 hours, a screenshot was captured by TMZ.
“After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement,” detailed the 37-year-old. “We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God’s guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us as we continue our journeys.”
The positive message closed, “May we find peace and fulfillment in His divine will, trusting that His plan is greater than our own.”

The couple were engaged in October 2024 in the public eye. Milano dropped to one knee and popped the question while on stage at Howard’s 100th homecoming. The proposal included Milano performing Mario’s “Let Me Love You.“ Milano and White started dating in May 2023 and made their relationship Instagram-official in September that same year.
“You won’t be able to say power couple without mentioning Angela White & Derrick Gray! They always say don’t go looking for love, let love find you. In this case love found us,” shared the mother of two at the time.
Milano and White appeared together on Love & Hip Hop: Miami season six, which was released in Nov. 2024 and aired through April of this year. On screen, White navigated her new era as she continued to shed the Blac Chyna persona that brought her into the public eye while Milano attempted to establish himself as a solo artist outside of his Grammy Award-winning, behind-the-scenes work.
