Shad “Bow Wow” Moss is giving fans a peek into his love life, opening up about his relationship with Jade Pinkett, the niece of Jada Pinkett Smith.
In a candid sit-down with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, the rapper and actor cleared the air about the rumored romance, offering a glimpse into its future while keeping some details under wraps. While Bow thought his relationship with the actress was “low key,” he was shocked when Sharpe asked him about it and marriage. However, he didn’t shy away from the subject.
“Me and her, we’ve had these talks,” the 38-year-old admitted. “I’m not against anything, but when I get to that point, or if I ever do get to that point, I want to make sure I’m right. And that’s not only a commitment to [her], that’s a commitment to God. And I don’t play with stuff like that.” He asserted that his focus right now is on enjoying life with Jade — prioritizing “fun,” travel, and overall good vibes.
Sharpe, however, didn’t let the “Fresh Azimiz” rapper off easy. He called out a past contradiction regarding Nelly and Ashanti. “You urged Nelly to marry Ashanti. How you gonna tell somebody to do something that you ain’t wanna do?” he playfully pressed. Bow calmly quipped, “Well, [Nelly] 50-plus. It’s like… I’m 38. I saw him during the ‘Verzuz,’ he ran across the stage to get her. I know how much she means to him.”
Bow Wow and Jade’s relationship first caught attention over New Year’s Eve, when the couple shared a subtle but telling Instagram post together. Jade captioned the photo, “New Years, Yr 2 for the books,” which hinted at a relationship that’s been going on for longer than most fans realized.
Bow, however, kept things minimal, reposting the image without a caption.
The father-of-two’s new relationship follows a romantic past including an engagement to Erica Mena and previous relationships with Joie Chavis and Olivia Sky, sharing children with both women.
