Cam’ron dropped a surprising gem during the April 6 edition of his Talk With Flee segment.
The 49-year-old revealed a personal connection to one of the most iconic soul food chains on the West Coast: Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles. In his signature laid-back style, the Harlem rapper casually announced that his family owns the beloved restaurant franchise.
“My family owns Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles,” Cam said, almost offhandedly. “I never really bring it up, ’cause I just didn’t think it was necessary. But yeah, that’s us.”

Acknowledging the brand’s deep roots in California food culture, he added, “I know everybody in California be like, ‘Yo, that’s our sh*t, that’s our sh*t.’ Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles is absolutely a California thing. But if y’all didn’t know, some Harlem ni**as own it—my family.”
While the revelation may have shocked many viewers, it’s not the first time Cam’ron has hinted at his ties to the Roscoe’s legacy. Back in May 2023, the Diplomatic Immunity rapper posted a photo of his uncle—identified as Herb, a Roscoe’s owner—alongside another relative, Warren, to his social media followers.
In the caption, Cam wrote, “Fun fact: would you believe me if I told you that the owner/founder of Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles was from Harlem? And that he’s my uncle?! Nah I wouldn’t believe me either.”
He also gave them their flowers for the franchise’s continued success and teased the opening of a new location in San Diego, expected to debut in the summer.

Though Cam’ron is known more for his influence in Hip-Hop and fashion, this behind-the-scenes business connection shows there’s even more depth to the Harlem native’s empire—and that his family’s roots run far beyond music.
