Cam’ron is one of the most entertaining storytellers and, coincidentally, he got into a scuffle with an equally captivating raconteur. The Dipset member recently told the world about a fight he had with Katt Williams and how he lost $30,000 in the process.
Cam spilled the beans on the Talk With Flee YouTube series, saying he attended one of Williams’ stand-up shows in Philadelphia. According to the Harlem rapper, the comedian gifted him $30,000 and gave luxury vehicles to Beanie Sigel and Lil Mo. The night started positively but went sour when Katt thought a Dipset member “farted” on him.
“As the night goes on, he’s flipping,” Killa said. “Katt comes over to me and — I’m not naming no names, let’s just call him ‘Dipset X’ — he says, ‘Yo Cam, I think Dipset X farted on me.’ I’m like, ‘Farted on you? I don’t know if he farted on you.’ He said, ‘Yeah, the ni**a farted on me! I usually tag ni**as behind sh*t like that.’” The It Is What It Is host said that Williams continued walking around the room asking who farted before finally punching “Dipset X.”
“Off instinct, I grab Katt, flip him upside down and slam him,” Cam’ron continued. “And then as I’m about to kick him, I snap out of it. It was just a reflex; Dipset X is my man. Katt had like a hundred FOIs [Fruit of Islam] come in. We in a room that’s smaller than somebody’s living room. Now the FOIs are in the middle of us and Katt says, ‘F**k you and f**k Dipset! All of y’all get the f**k out!’”
Cam also stated that, amid all of the fighting, he lost possession of the $30,000 that Katt Williams gave him. “We shuffling out and I’m like [to my crew], ‘Y’all at least could have grabbed the 30 thousand! Y’all ain’t even fight! I should take my belt off and beat the sh*t out y’all ni**as, man,’” he recalled with a laugh.
According to the “Touch It Or Not” rapper, they have not spoken since then, but they both did attend 50 Cent’s celebrity basketball game in Shreveport, La. recently. “We didn’t speak because he was on the other side of the court,” he said. “That last my encounter with Katt. Do I have hard feelings towards Katt? No. I don’t have a problem with Katt. How he feels about me, I have no idea.”
Cam’ron has had a few recent feuds with Chad Ochocinco, Elliott Wilson, Jim Jones, and more. His commentary on the Nightcap host was especially scathing, though he apologized soon after. “I don’t really f**k with [him] to be totally honest with you,” he said on It Is What It Is last week. “When we started the show, the ni**a was hating from the very beginning… We were doing very well, we were very successful… He comes out of nowhere talking about, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna get myself back together and I’m taking Cam’s spot.’ Why the f**k you got to take my spot?”
