After Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, made a shocking confession about an alleged childhood incestuous relationship with his cousin, Cam’ron has announced his intention to track down the unnamed relative for an interview on his Talk With Flee show.
The revelation in question was made public last month when Ye discussed discovering some erotic magazines in his mother’s closet as a kid and reenacting what he saw with his younger male cousin.
Cam’ron revisited the serious claim, expressing his skepticism about Kanye’s motives. “Kanye was talking about his cousin being in jail for life for a murder or something,” he explained. “I’m actually trying to find the cousin. I want to interview him.” The Dipset Vet went on to say that he’s actively looking for this relative and is even willing to travel to the jail to speak with him. “We’re on the hunt to find him right now, to find out if what Kanye did to him is why he’s doing life in prison,” he continued.
Sharing his take on why Ye may have made that revelation, unprovoked, Cam called out the Vultures rapper’s timing, which he found “too convenient.”
“Ni**as be conveniently gay,” he quipped. “It’s like, ‘Yo, let’s be gay for a little while ‘cause it’s poppin.’” Cam also criticized Ye string of controversies over the years, from his problematic comments about Hitler to his brief association with the KKK.
He pointed out that this latest revelation about molestation seemed like another chapter in Ye’s continuous public spectacles. “Kanye’s been in the public eye for over 20 years, and now he’s ‘gay’ or had gay acts? It’s not working,” he declared.
Cam’s skepticism of Ye’s erratic behavior isn’t new, as he stated in a 2023 interview with All The Smoke that “Kanye plays crazy with who he wants to play crazy with. He’s crazy when it’s convenient.” Cam then revealed that, in his personal experience, he’s never seen the chaotic side of Ye that often makes headlines. “I saw Kanye about two years ago… the ni**a was sane as a muthaf**ka!” Cam recalled.
As of publication, the cousin Ye spoke of has not been discovered.
