A day after officially debuting her new romance with NFL star Stefon Diggs online, Cardi B hopped back on X Spaces (June 3) to share more intrusive thoughts about “offing” estranged husband Offset. Prior, the mother-of-three wished for him to “die slow” and “get hit by a truck.”
“I don’t think people understand how tired I was. How tired, how mentally drained I was. I was literally losing my mind. I gave it chances after chances after chances,” she said, adding that if she stayed, she “was going to end up going to jail, ‘cause I was going to end up killing [him]. Seriously, with my own bare hands.”
The 32-year-old went on to explain just how toxic their marriage was. “It’s more than cheating. It was the constant lies, the gaslighting … It was really messing up with my head,” she admitted. Cardi even claimed that things got so dark that even her team urged her to get therapy. And while she did eventually reconcile with Offset — resulting in the birth of their third child, Blossom — the renewed romance didn’t last.
“I did therapy and I tried and I fell back in love again and I decided to have my baby,” she said. “But when it’s the end of something, it’s literally the end.”
Now entering a new era with NFL star Stefon Diggs, Cardi shared that the two built a solid friendship before their romance took off — and she hasn’t “been this happy in a very, very long time.” Still, she didn’t let the internet trolls slide. Cardi addressed the folks calling her a “h*e” for moving on, by reminding them she was “married for seven years” and “faithful” the entire time.
The new relationship has occurred all while her and Offset’s divorce proceedings are ongoing. When addressing the former Migos rapper’s latest legal request for spousal support, she popped off on X with, “Word to my mother… I want you to die but I want you to die slow. And while you dying you gotta think of me.” She claimed the spousal support request only came after he claimed she asked for “everything” in the divorce, and that despite what Offset’s camp says, he’s barely shown up for their kids — allegedly only seeing baby Blossom “five times.”
Offset’s court filing also includes a request for joint custody and suggests that both parties pay their own legal fees. While the filing didn’t list a dollar amount, sources say the move is tied to their massive net worth gap — Cardi reportedly worth up to $100,000,000, while Offset trails behind around $30,000,000.
Cardi’s disdain for her ex isn’t new. Back in October, she took to X with more ill wishes. “Bro I wish the worst on this man. I never hated somebody soooo much… Please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is too heavy,” she snapped.
When fans reminded her he’s the father of her children, she didn’t backpedal. “Yea he is, that’s why I don’t wish him death… but I truly hate this dirty a** narcissistic piece of sh*t. I don’t want him dead, but to get hit by a f**king truck.”

Despite Offset’s cool “I’m happy for her !!” response to Cardi’s new relationship, it’s clear their split is final. Since the most recent online fiasco, Offset has deactivated his social accounts.
