Cassie Friend Says Diddy Dangled Her Over Balcony In New Lawsuit

Diddy and Cassie are forever tied to one another because of their previous romantic relationship, which turned dark when she kicked off his legal ordeals with her now-settled lawsuit last November. One of her friends recently filed a lawsuit against the 55-year-old artist, potentially signaling that his alleged misconduct and physical harm did not stop at the “Long Way 2 Go” singer.

Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, a known fashion designer, is suing the controversial mogul in Los Angeles for sexual battery, false imprisonment, and infliction of emotional distress, per Rolling Stone. Bana claims that Puff dangled her from the balcony of Cassie’s LA apartment and also threatened to kill her.

She and her girlfriend slept over at Cassie’s place one night in 2016 and were woken up by the former Making The Band star allegedly angrily shouting and banging on the door. Upon entering the apartment, Bongolan claims he grabbed her and held her up on the 17th floor balcony banister while screaming, “Do you know what the f**k you did? Do you know what the f**k you did?” He allegedly pulled her down after realizing there would be witnesses if he killed her, but got one final fit of rage in and slammed her on furniture. She is seeking $10 million in damages.

“The only purpose of dangling someone over a balcony is to actually kill them or to intentionally terrorize them and rob them of any concept of dominion over their own bodily autonomy and safety,” attorney James R. Nikraftar of Miller Barondess, who is representing Bryana Bolongan, said in the suit. “Ms. Bongolan refuses to allow this fear to control the rest of her life and brings this action to demand that Mr. Combs takes responsibility for the trauma he intentionally and maliciously [inflicted].”

Much like their reactions to all of the lawsuits against Diddy, the “Last Night” artist and his legal team have denied the allegations. “Anyone has the right to file a lawsuit, regardless of the evidence they may or may not have,” one of his attorneys said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “Since last year, Ms. Bongolan has expressed an intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims. Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.”

Diddy is currently behind bars for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. For the last year, he was handed several lawsuits for sexual misconduct from men and women, and seemingly has more on the way from the victims Tony Buzbee is working with. He has been denied bail multiple times and is set for trial in May 2025.
